Picked up my new car today!!

Really pleased with it. Will get some better pics in daylight.

So glade to be rid of the BMW... which incidentally managed to get hit by a bus plus a tree fell on it in the last 24hours of ownership... and it was only lent to me prior to this being delivered. It was a 57 plate 7 Series and they asked me not to go over 6k miles. I didn't but they didn't mention not denting it...

Its a 3.0tdi quattro sport. Didn't want any bigger as the tax gets stupid!! and i have the ur for speed...

Got pulled over by the Police last weekend!!

Not for speeding or for car checks. They were convinced i had stolen it!!! though they never mentioned those exact words so i did. Then i got the clever **** bit!! " I didn't mention the vehicle was stolen sir"!!!!

Spent half an hour convincing them that it was not. Got to the point as i was in walking distance of my home, that i said, you take it if you want you will be more embarrassed than me..

I understand that they are doing there job and many who have had cars stolen (me included) would be grateful for this service but it does not need to be delivered with the "one up-man-ship" attitude that goes with it....

know what you mean, a couple of years ago when i was 21 i had a black E39 5 series bmw and got pulled over about once for every hour of town driving, after about the 6th time i threatened them with a formal comlaint! turns out it was owned by a drug dealer bout a year previousl lol

btw, seriously nice car! always liked them!

Thanks, must admit didn't like the wheels to start with but they have grown on me the front face is fully polished and the rest is gunmetal grey 275/35 20" glad i wont be paying for them..
