You could put "S2" in 3 feet tall letters down each side and it still wouldnt mean **** all to 99% of people that saw it

I do like the look without them on, but also like it with, so its going back on
I got asked by a mechanic at the weekend if it was a A6

I was thinking about doing them ages ago but my car is too dark for them to show up.
Plus I want to keep the S2 badge, which would be near impossible to make black to match

Dest, did you fit S2Avant or RS2 H&R's? either way, do you have spring rate data on them? cheers

          They were S2 Avant springs.

was keen to compare OEM to H&R spring rates for both S2 and RS2.

ie: guessing H&R S2 avants may be modest step up in stiffness from OEM RS2 without going the whole hog to RS2 H&R's.....

              looks spot on dude.....
any issue's after living with your new suspension??....

I am thinking of upgrading mine, although it had the "sports" suspension option when it was new...so not sure whether to or just change the shocks...

                Half an answer

                LLyod,

I believe the standard S2 and RS2 Springs are the same. The dampers are different. The front ARB is thicker on an RS2, not sure about the back one?

                HTH.

                Kind regards.
