Dest has to check his junk mail filter to find his and a mate had to stop auto deletion of junk mail on his hotmail account to get the verification email.

The winner gets '£250 of free products' - doesnt say what they are or if you get a choice of which products.

Anyone on hotmail got a email thru, i've tried now with two hotmail accounts I have and both don't give me any response

Open hotmail, go to your inbox, click options on the right then more options. Go "junk email" -> "filters and reporting".

Set filter to standard and delete junk mail set to later NOT immediately, else you can never see any mail in your junk folder.

Took 5 mins to come through but it worked.
