Like the new wheels - just wish they were silver though...

IMO - black wheels only suit a few cars. Doesn't look 'right' to me on a Green S2 - hard to say why - very subjective this stylee stuff. If it floats *your* boat then sail away...

Now, dechromed grill thats my idea of cool, was only disscussing it earlier... Was thinking about tinted windows, nothing massivly dark, just a bit, and get rid of the tow bar

I like them.....but i also loved the old 5 spoke originals too. See what I would do is polish up the 16's, they look fantastic like that (Biased because I had mine that way....) and keep the BBS for the 'mean' look that they give, dropped on those Koni's it looks great. Get it machine polished so you have a really nice finish on the paint to match the (clean) bbs, gel the sidewalls up and I reckon if you could find some alu sliver roof bars and maybe some mirror caps it would look the dogs

love the wheels, not sure on the black & green combo tho, shame they don't come in anthracite

As mentioned, give the tyres a decent buff and that'll loose some of the contrast, try 37-38psi pressure on 18's as well.

TBH, if the wheels are new then a home re-colour will be the easiest thing in the world. Key the surface with some fine wet'n'dry, clean and degrease and then add whatever colour you want, it'll come up beautifully IMO. And leave the tyres on to annoy Paul

How Much Did They Cost?

I paid £700 for them, they are used, but have just been powder coated black as you can see, there is 6+mm on the back tyres and 4.5mm ish on the fronts, 225x40x18 all round

still think i prefre the origionals.....

forgot to say, the rrp for the rims in is £338 each but i know these arnt new...
