  • New member's car!

    Hi.

    I'm a new member here at this no.1 site.
    Here's a pic. of my car.
    Have to change the hood, and give it a new paint job.
    More pics. will come when it's finnished..

            Great car! I bet most of the people on here would like either the wheels, mirrors, bumper, side skirts etc of your car! I know i do!

              Actally there are no extra side skirts on it. I've just painted the lower part thats originally black in the cars color, and left the rubber/plastic original.

                  Toranomy: Can I ask , why do the leftside of the hood is up ? There is a big gap between headlight and the hood , or it's just winkes to me ?

                    Sweeper, there are two bonnet catches/locks on the s2. Mine used to do that when i first got it as it only had one catch on it.
                    Was a '93 3B, Dont ask now tho......

                      They can easily be adjusted. The gap is meant to e 9mm + or -2mm I think!.

                      Don't wind the screw too far in or it will dent the bonnet. I didn't do that....

                        That's the reason i need a new hood. If you look closer under the grille, you see the dent. that's the reason. And ofcourse, some adjustment to the hood would probably help, but i don't bother, since i'm about to change it, and give the entire car a paintjob.

                              Pleasure, I'm now thinking about painting mine like Yours. I didn't like the idea of painting the ruber trim.
