  • CQ Stolen - replacement

There is another CQ on the driveway already...

In a unrivalled act of generosity, Klausy has parked his CQ, with the V5 on the driveway whilst I was away working in Scotland.

I'll be taking him up on his kind offer and cannot thank him enough for his help and support. He truly is a gentleman.

This is what met me yesterday evening.

    What can I say.....

I can't thank you all enough for your support. It's humbling to know there are such great enthusiasts out there.

No Jay, he's selling it to me, his fleet of cars has overtaken him, but the CQ is still one of his favourites. He's pleased it's going to another enthusiast and that he'll see it quite often. It does need several bits tidying up, but it's only got 73k on the clock. Main thing it needs is a set of CQ/Coupe metal bumper trims. The Ur bumpers are fitted slightly less subtly than mine were.

Best of luck with the new car Ian, I hope you enjoy it and can forget about the trauma of losing the last one.

              Cheers,

I'm really pleased to see your replacement, Ian!

You were always a type 85 man - I remember your "Big Five", all those years ago.
Regardless of what Audi I have in future, the type 85 will always have a special place in my heart.

We all thank Klausy on your behalf, for his absolute generosity.

Popped her up the old Church Lane for a couple of Pics

                        Plenty left to do mind.

It's been a right old roller-coaster couple of weeks, I'm still pinching myself to see if I'll wake up and find the old CQ on the drive.
