  • CQ Stolen - the expected result

You’ll all, I’m sure, be unsurprised to learn, that whilst the local Police have a very good idea who stole the CQ, and they have CCTV footage of the suspects car, they have insufficient CCTV footage to identify the driver, and thus are unable to pursue the owner for a DNA sample to try and match the sample from the stolen car.

So, (and I feel genuinely sorry for Plod here) they are pretty sure they know who did it, they know the persons car and they know his ‘reputation’. But as yet he has no criminal record and no register on the DNA database, and as such, there is insufficient evidence to pass to the CPS, let alone stand up in a Court of Law.

    So the case is shelved…

The law of this land is a side-splittingly funny joke in favour of the scrotes.

Shame you did not know who it was, you could go get some dna for your self as you kick his head in.

Really does make you laugh with the police and procedures, be better if they did it like the old days and just went and did the job they are paid for.

Maybe, just maybe this pansy world of ours has gone too far... Might not be so bad if it went back to the 'Gene Hunt' school of Policing.

if you can find out from that info his identity, what about having someone far removed from you come forward as a witness and say they saw him that night in the car? or get him set up for something else so the fuzz have a record and therefore the right to take dna, whoopise, what's this? matches the dna of another case we have open of a stolen audi?

What a surprise ...the police take the easy option and do nothing.

So without CCTV they cant do anything? So how did criminals ever get caught before it? To my mind if he has a "reputation" then they should be watching him like a hawk and next time he does anything they get him in and get fingerprints or whatever and nail him for yours as well.
