Been for a random drive today in my old 2.3 10 valve, I've just got it painted and put it back on the road after duffing the bumper and offside wing about a year ago, I'm planning on using it while I'm fettling the S2. It will be for sale in a couple of months.

Ooooh That's nice mate. I do like a black coupe. There's a voice in the back of my head shouting about a black coupe and the 17" deep dish rims I have in the house but I bet my missus would set fire to me if I entertained another coupe when I have no justification for buying another.

Cheers Noel, it's actually a very very dark pearl Blue colour but looks Black in all but direct sunlight. It will be for sale at some point as I'm getting nagged about having to many cars, I really don't want to sell it though as she's an absolute belter of an example.

What sort of price would you be looking for it when you come to sell?

A couple of hundred quid over a grand I expect, but it will depend on whether I leave the ellipsoids on ect. I'm trying to put it off at least until I get the S2 back on the road in the spring. I've had it for five years and before that the old girl belonged to a very good friend of mine who is sadly no longer with us, so in a funny sort of way I have quite an emotional bond with the car and would rather keep it than let it go for peanuts.

haha. damn right Si. I just sold my 16v tonight but I think I better be sorting the A4's cats rather than invest in another coupe
