I'd love one, i'd convert it to RHD and drop either a VR6 or 1.8t lump in it. If I was flush with cash an R32 lump!
have a look at storm developments website, they've got a rallye with a R32/Audi 3.2 V6 twin rotex supercharged, think it makes somewhere in the region of 600HP
its in good condition apart from the usual sill rot which i will get done in a few months. i have another set of refurbed sebrings to put on complete with centre caps. I thought id leave the current set on for the winter though.
as for engine conversions it will stay original as its great fun already.

That's a nice toy you've got there - don't listen them, keep the engine standard, too much to go wrong - trust me
Jamo - can get R32's dirt cheap now, Mk V's going brand new for 16K if you drive a hard bargain! Sure you'd get an engine much cheaper than you'd expect. But don't even go down the Golf road - you still got an Avant engine to finish before the year is out!
Get some G60 steels on there for winter. There's a red Rallye near me that's got the steels on and it looks pretty stealthy, even with the '80s wide arch kit

Looks like a very nice Rallye you have there! You should get yourself over onto dubforce.net most of the Rallye owners on the UK are on there and there is a lot of knowledge about the G60's. I had a Rallye untill I sold it to fund the swb quattro, it was great fun and sounded the nuts!
