Strange problem with aux gauges Illumination goin off after about a min or so, havin run the Illumination wires for the boost gauge to the aux gauges, they go on with the lights as normal but all 4 gauges go off for some reason, the heater lights and dash lights stay on as normal any ideas?

Change the bulb in the boost gauge for an LED and try again. I bet they aux gauge illumination stays on

Or take the feed for your boost gauge illumination from your glovebox light instead.
The aux gauges already run through a booster relay, maybe one more is enough to knock them out.2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.

BTW just curious, why do they run the bulb supply for these three gauges through a booster relay?
Is is a similar idea to the amplifier on the aerial to boost the radios input signal?

Actually, the relay is a booster for the whole dash board lighting, not just the aux gauges.
I guess when you think about it, there a fair few bulbs in that one circuit.
893 919 080 and it's located in the small loom behind the aux gauges.2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
