    The D11 has landed....

As some of you know my Range Rover has been retired since April and I have been using the S2 as a daily driver. Since then I've been on the lookout for a nice cheap daily to get me to and from work and a couple of weeks ago I was made an offer I couldn't refuse.

My new daily is a 1991 Pearl white Audi V8. It's got the 250bhp 3.6 V8 engine with the 4 speed auto box featuring the futuristic Sport, Economy and Manual mode rotary dial. Incidentally it was the first Audi to feature an automatic gearbox coupled to a quattro drivetrain. It's loaded with toys (most of which work) including climate control, electric heated seats, electric windows (with 1 touch up on the drivers side), sunroof and mirrors.

For the OE purists out there it is on it's original pearl white bbs rims and has the original blaupunkt canberra headunit.

On the bad side it needs some TLC as it's been sat since last October. There is rust around the NSF wing and door and on the roof over the drivers door. The central locking, Aircon, Radio etc need fixing. The wheels are badly corroded and the whole thing needs a damn good clean and polish so we can see just how bad it is. It also has no MOT or tax but hopefully those minor points should be sorted by the end of the week.

Now can anyone work out how much I have had to part with for this?

    Ben

Strangely enough the guy wanted a grand for it at christmas when he first offered it to me. Needless to say I wasn't interested at that price. In fact the price I paid for it included it being delivered by trailer so all in it was bad. Keep guessing...

Not quite. Another question, do you think it will be on track at ADI before Madwolf's coupe?

lmao, I think either my s4, or whatever car my son gets when he starts learning to drive (he's 6 currently) will be on the track at "A" adi before madwolf's.

btw I have that futuristic phone for your new purchase if you still want it

I actually think those big barges have a lot of character - never built for out and out speed / handling - its a battle cruiser - with a nice soundtrack.

Nice to see it found a good home !

the owner of The Autopool I think has one of those, they are great cars and moeny wise anything south of £500 is a steal. More chance of seeing Fred Flintstone lap Combe than Madwolf in his S2

                            Good colour choice Ben btw....naturally
