10 Month ????? why not Twelve?

Basically still a "newbie" in the "S2" world, but thanks to this forum I have learnt a great deal; many of you guys who are regular contributors need a BIG pat on the back and much thanks for helping us new guys learn "the way around" these great cars..
Anyway, 10 months on.... What can I say, all is well (ish). Bought her back in Sept 08, was originally looking for a sensible A4 TDI 1.9 Avant but though to myself I cant be that old yet, so before the wife decided she would have another kid - I bought the S2!
Mileage when Bought...circa 139k
Milage Now 145k
Bit of a Hot Smoker when bought (see http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36164) which was fixed by a new PCV Valve and pipes. Then new Sump Plug, Washer and Oil Filter and so far that's it.
Total Cost = £50-60 in bits.
Drives superb, latest "victim" being a RX8, however a bit gutted today.. had an early S3 up my rear bumper but had my 4yr old daughter in the back so couldnt have a "go" ( I assume he is telling his mates "how he thrashed one of those fast estate's today") - Gutted - until next time:mischeif:
Anyhow...
Q1: My Boost Gauge is in Lbs not BAR, so can some some one confirm if the following is ok? Getting 15lbs usuallly when I "floor" it, peeking at 20-22Lbs for a split second if space allows - Does that sound Healthy?? What is the BAR equivilent?
Q2. How much Oil can you expect to use in approx 6k miles?
So why 10 month Review?..Just finished my first 5ltr can of Oil - It lasted 10 months, almost 6k miles of 80% short journey's (sub 10 miles), than random 100m trip on the weekend's. Bearing in mind my "Hot Smoker" issue, and 50% nice and easy driving and 50% hammer down - how do other ABY's compare on oil consumption.
So that's it.... 10months = 5ltr's of Oil (Please dont say that Terrible!!!)
