    What's the towing capacity of an S2 Avant?

    Hi,

    Shoot me down in flames but I need to know how heavy a caravan I can tow with my S2 Avant. Any ideas? I know it's got something to do with weight of the car...

          well max trailer weight on uk roads behind car 3500kg isnt it, im sure a s2 would pull that. however i think the manufacture figure if given is the max, which i dont know

                  Towing would be the easy bit, stopping on the other hand would be a bigger issue 3 1/2 ton behind you ...

                      That towing limit is the weight of the car plus the trailer, so assuming 1700 for the S2 1800 for whatever is being towed.
