My S2 Avant ABY

Bought this on saturday from a guy in maccelsfield, does anyone recognise the car at all?

it needs a bit of tidying up but im pleased with it.

whats normally the first mod people do to these?

if your planning on driving it hard then fit some uprated brakes for starters then start on power i.e. homefries

it already has Porsche brembo's on the front, think the pads are 933 ones :s

welcome to the forum, i'd say go for some boost hoses alwasy thought that was a good upgrade, it looks like you already have a S/S exhaust system on there too.

A8 alloys look great

yes its a Miltek cat back s/s, i also robbed my written off Polo G40 of its jetex cone filter today.
i take it there's no problems caused by cone filters being fitted e.g MAF sensor going loopy?

depends on the type of cone,standard airbox is fine unless your going for big hp

cone is fine

g40 cone is too small. way too small.

it wont get turned inside out like some G60 ones. filtrations not as much an issue.

you probly wont find many supporters of cones here. if you fit it make sure its down the front behind the front mount or it will heatsoak like on the gladers.

You could go for the 4" airbox port like ive done, then no need for a cone.
We should have a small meet up with all 3 local cars

im not into drilled and butchered airboxes. but each to their own. wont deny they work at least as good to a level.

if you can fit an airbox next to my turbo ill buy your S2

3 cars is nearing a full blown regional.
