A good few years ago i bought my own RS2. At the time a saw it on Ebay it was an RS2 in the only TRUE I D WANT TO OWN, with a full roll cage and a very very plausible ownership account, so i bought it.Lets face facts an undamaged original nogaro Blau RS2 with a few owners,bigger brakes, and a Blo##dy full on roll-cage is not an everyday example of EBAY fodder.so I bought it from a fella called ian who runs an off road driving/tuition school in Kent, he bought it from his mate Werner, who, i undrestand, took it on from the Hockenheim GP circuit owners .i was advised it was a special order from porsche/audi-& i truly adore this car -and it s not for sale. but if anyone knows anything about it, or better still has a working history/ or images while working, then i d be thrilled to know anything at all you can tell me .The car is a digit short of a full regular Audi chassis number,it came with no sunroof,a TUV Matter fitted , weld and bolt in complete rollcage, wood trimmed,as opposed to carbon dash, LHD of course, she was sat in the weeds and ripped the top off a matchbox with standard ride height until recently.
As i said i have owned her for 6 yrs now, and only recently on recommendation joined S2forum, but i would dearly love to know more on her German history.many thanks for reading, regards Ian
