yes i look at it everyday boys, i still miss it but having spoken to ash (alltype cars- nice chap by the way) i couldnt justify 7k for it.

it will always be an expensive s2 as its unique, in style but also history. was owned by ferdinand peitch- the once boss of audi.

when i drove it i felt a proper pimp daddy !!

as ash explains to me, it will probably end up going abroad as the market is in demand there with it also being LHD.

Ash keeps saying he will keep it and not sell, but i think he's holding on for the full price

I agree, especially considering it don't have ellipsoids.

You could buy a rs2 recently for a grand more and worth more if the worst happens etc.

Probably worth 4-4.5k at most unfortunately. Shame these car's are not worth more but thats the way things are atm.

Just because someone famous owned it a long time ago, does that really justify a stupid price?!
Personally, a famous person owning a car means nothing to me. Its just another name on the logbook, and nothing more.
It doesnt make it a better car!
In reality, apart from the colour its not any different from any other S2 Avant.
I could buy the RS2 body parts and respray mine in the same colour, it wouldnt be any different.
Plus, you could buy another avant and do the same, and it would still be cheaper than your old one!!

the bumper is not a genuine rs2 item, look at the rectangular fog lights etc

it was styled by a chap who does work for irmcher (opel, in germany)

the car used to be dark navy blue and still is under the bonnet etc.

when i px'ed it it had an oil leak seeping through the head gasket and the gearbox (rs2) was starting to whine.

id still love to have it back though

nope, was orig made in dark navy blue, the flip flop paint is called indionapolis green, same as the vw polo's but with a red,green,purple tint to it
