  • Introducing me and my RS2

**Message for a mod - maybe this should be moved to introductions?**

I am new to the forum and thought I'd introduce before heading straight to the wanted section for some needed parts...!

I own a '94 volcano black/grey RS2, RHD, with a small list of modest modifications...
    - MTM 3 prong ECU
    - Koni shocks & H&R springs
    - Big Red 993 Turbo 322mm brake kit (newly replaced discs and pads all round... ouch!)
    - HID Xenon lamps
    - Continental Sports Contact 2 225 45 R17 all round
    - A very fitting 3rd brake light/spoiler!

What a car! While the mileage is not shy of 175k miles that's not apparent while driving.

I also own a VM Corrado VR6 (which I use for every day driving). The RS2 is a weekend/fine weather car for me.

Do many people know of RS2s with the 3rd brake light/spoiler as mine has? I wonder if it is quite a rare sight on RS2s.

I WISH I had enough space and money to keep the car but I've owned her for 3 years now and I would like a change.

    But... She's a beaut...

Rear spoiler is not limited to the RS2 also available to the standard Avant.

I have one on my Avant, looks good

thanks for heads up on the spoiler - i think it looks too good not to fit, a nice little update to a classic looking car. i imagined it was an A4 part.

the MTM 3 prong ECU - you know maybe you know more about it than I do? I have inherited it (and that description) from the previous owner. anyone know any more about it? i presume it piggy backs off the stock ECU.

Current photos won't do her justice as a couple of the strips at the bottom of the rear doors (both sides) are damaged and so i've removed em. I'll definitely get new ones some time soon but the cost at the moment is prohibitive...

'MTM 3 prong ECU' still sounds gobbley-gook to me... and I've never heard of MTM doing piggybacks before. Most strange - do you have a photo of this elusive device - or was it just pure confusion/story you got from a previous owner ?

I need one of those rear rs2 spoilers

I am a newbie and will be posting pictures and details of my soon to arrive RS2. But I definitely want a rear spoiler for it. It's the only thing I am going to change on an otherwise completely standard car. Are these available in the UK ?

Promise to post pictures when I pick her up in about 2 1/2 weeks.

I have been wanting own one of these beast since I first saw Autocar years ago with a big spread on it... soon very soon ..

Does anyone know where to buy replacement brake lights for the spoiler? I'm trying to source one and have had no luck with the Hella P/N
