I always think of 360 bearing as just being more robust than 270 - isn't that the main benefit ? I am no guru on turbo internals...

its its paul. its about load areas. loading a bigger surface area under pressure is safer.
like i say modern design improves spool not that you wait long on an RS2 anyway.
id say better N75 mapping or a boost controller is the best way to take the turbo.Comment
