hi andy, yep sounds the same im going to change the coilpack boots today, also boost leak test change dv. How did you turn ur boost down

my wastegate is adjustable. its been running almost 2 bar for the last 5 years and talking to previous owners has been no problems.
did you get any faultcodes yourself?

Na not yet maybe pluggin it in later

just pressure tested it from bottom of turbo to inlet it holds 2 bar, was reading somewhere on here that if you suck on the wastgate nipple it is supposed to hold pressure but mine doesnt any ideas

The top of the wastegate is supposed to hold a vacuum. Take the top off and see if the diaphragm has a hole in it.

Cheers andy, i have but cant see no rips or holes, so if you suck on the wastegate nipple( so to speak) it will hold pressure
