I'd only use Weston, MRC or Reyland to be honest if I was doing a single run but I'm not ready for a dyno run at present

Good results there nip, could be better if you had a rs2 cam and put something over 95 ron in for the run.
you may of made an extra 5 hp max because of front face inlet but you should see 420bhp and 650 nm of torque on that turbo and chips if you have correct cams and optimax or tesco juice.

Just wondering if there is anybody out there that still considers a decent k26/27 hybrid not to be a good if not better alternative to a k24 7200.

Don't think anyone ever said that, I had one that made 350 at 1.5 bar, engine wasn't capable to sustain 1.9 2-bar which I knew would make 400 bhp

Turbo's are a personal choice there are a multitude that will do the same job in a different matter.

Not bad numbers. Would be interesting to see the FATS time.
Log 4200-6500 rpm in 3rd gear with Vagcom.

                      The MRC FATS database:

Only mine and Rusty's so far, don't be shy, folks:

MRC Tuning have been at the forefront of VAG tuning solutions for the last 20 years, our expert team develop our remaps in-house Tuning the latest Audi S and RS models.

Dyno numbers make good sense. We measured 310 hp and 298ft lb at the wheels with a Hohenester setup with the same (basically) turbo. That one is rated at 400hp and 550nm at the crank. However, only 1.6 or 1.7 bar peak boost. Fully built with ported head, cams, etc.

                          Hi Nip

                          I’m Paul from Viezu.com

We have just completed the installation of our new 3000bhp rolling road at our HQ and technical centre in Bromsgrove; it’s probably the most advanced dyno in the UK. We now have over 98 Uk dealers, we tend to keep our state of the art dyno cell in Bromsgrove for research and development work, but if you are looking to have your car tested I will be happy to give you some FOC dyno time. Please e-mail me at paul@viezu.com and i will make the arrangements.
If you want to see our facilities you can see some pics on our face book, “Viezu Remap”
Please let me know if we can be of assistance

                          Best wishes

                          Paul

                              Did he say '3000bhp' ?

What are they bolting onto that - a top fuel dragster - LOL. That's just nutty. Must be a mad setup !
