I have sort of had an offer for a swap for my S2. it´s a 2003 golf R32 in reflex silver, it has about 60k miles on the clock, in very good condition. On the other hand, i dont know what to do as my S2 is quite uniqe in it´s own way. it,s a 94 with pre-select glass roof, cruisecontroll, full climatecontroll one (1!) previous owner, 100k miles, RS2,d, koni/H&R,s porsche brakes, Tresers, RS2 grille, mirrors, front bumper, Arons carbon trim and coilcover, Beru carbon rad shroud, 18" Porsche twisters with almost new TOYO proxes T1R,s. and i have got exactly every invoice, MOT slip, reciept brochure all keys and so on since new. What should i do? or what would you do?
What the hell should i do??

Me too!!! The S2 has rarity for a start, which an R32 will never have as much!
Plus - have you driven it hard yet? If its like a VR6 you will read the figures and be massivly dissapointed, they have not got enough power for the long gearing thay have in my opinion there neither a back road car not a motorway car, plus my re-mapped VR6 had one from the lights to 100mph once!!!
And don't forget when/if you get bored with your S2, they are far more viable for modifications being a turbo car
Bottom line - the S2 will remain exciting, the R32 will bore you to tears in a week and you'll blend in - and who wants that :mischeif:Comment

Well if you want to hang around at your local McDonalds until 3am then go for the Golf, if you just like having class keep the 5 pot wonder.
Unbiased obviously.
TThe older I get the better I was.Comment

Mate had an r32 and within a week was bored pooless with it and sold it. In other words I would rather shove wasps up my **** than sell the s2 and that's saying something as I love golfs and specially the r32Comment

I went out and looked at the S2, and to be honest i doubt i will find one thats better. So she stays=) Don´t really know what i eas thinking. there is a reason why this is my 4,th S2 having had S3,s urq,s A4,s A3,s VR6, G60, CTR, and so on i have ALWAYS regreted selling the S2,s and beeing relived i have got rid of all the other crap. And this one is by far the best S2 i have ever had incl the inca orange one! Thanks for changing my mind=) And i remember beeing very disapointed wih my VR6 as it sounded like a fighter jet and went like rubbish (compared to the sound) I actually beat it from the lights up to 120-130 km/h with a bog standard mk2 16v i had at the same time.Comment
