The car runs pretty fast with a hell of a 10V sound, due to a small hole in the exhaust system...
Next step is MOT, and then a tidy up from the bottom...

No, there's some rust in the wheel wells, at the bottom of the B pillars as well. Some welding has to be done..

Hmm maybe i'll change the future-kid alpine radio to a Audi Gamma CC or a Blaupunkt Travel Pilot, would look more stock. And there's an option to get an WC engine off an 100 turbo with 165hp, which can be chipped to get 200hp :mischeif:

Nice car, always like that age with the small bumpers and rear tail lights. Never knew there was a 2.0 quattro, thought they were 2.1 in those days? Does it have fuel injection?

Don't know much 'bout the car at the moment
'Small' JS(?) engine 115hp, K-Jetronic I suppose - that would be mechanical air measuring and single continuous fuel injection..
On my first longer ride I was near top speed ~180km/h, with rpm quite high.. So - IF I will fit a turbo'ed engine, a different gearbox must go in. From i'net research i would say a 016 is in(5 gear), but with a different ratio at the front/rear diffs than the Uri.. So any hints are welcome..
Now, I will drive to my Audi friend (~170km), who has 'some' older Quattro's (and a Uri). I am sure he will say some words on this topic Maybe he can support the four rings that I'm missing at the front grille..
