    Avant VIN oddity

    Just noticed my VIN number has a T for model year which I believe is 1996.

    But my log book says first registered 01/08/1995

    Is there a simple explination

    That's perfectly normal.........

    They would of probably stopped building T chassis cars around June of 1996. This is to get ready for V chassis 97 model year cars
