Im going to break my coupe.

My S2 is broken yet again so its time to break it and move on.....

As some of you will know I have had this car for about 6 years and its gone through a lot of modifications.

The headgasket blew just 5k after the rebuild, running 2bar boost and tones of torque.

Its been a really hard choice to make as i have spent well over 10k on it not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of hours of work..

I have thought this through and also considered putting the car back to standard and selling it as the chassis and bodywork are still in vgc, but to do this i would have to buy another s2 as there is hardly any original parts on the car now. Also, i have no where to live at the moment and will be away again next summer so lack of time is also the reason i cant keep this beast on the road....

At the moment all parts are still on the car and i will start a for sale thread once i start to strip it, first i need to find a suitable place..

I also still have the urs4 which i plan to get rid of too.

gotta say i can understand it bo.

it looks like i will lose my job in January following a company merger. i have 2 cars, the audi and the bmw 530d. so far selling either is not on the radar but soon i think it will.

does the s2 go or not? does it go as standard or as is? im yet to decide. id be sad to see it go but needs must im sure youll agree.

Dude sorry to hear the bad news. I hope you reconsider and your situation changes for the better

Unfortunately this is the only option, as i have no time or space to repair it. The engine should be ok, its just had the head gasket blown but i will get that checked by my machine shop first before any of the engine parts go up for sale. the gearbox is basically dead, wont go in to gear unless you really force it. The 6k launches didn't help that i guess.

Also, im ashamed to say this but i'm under a bit of pressure from the missis to get something comfortable as she cant stand driving the s2.

Im defiantly staying in this site though, the next car will be an S8 i think, after that an RS2 again... Thats the plan anyway
