What a day!!!
After 4 months of looking, waiting and getting the cash in.... I finally fetched my 1996 ming blue S2 coupe. Very good all round condition. Had a four hour drive in traffic from Swindon to Milton Keynes... Still had many thrills, as you all probably did on your first trip.
My new "beaut" is stock except for a factory fitted DTM exhaust. 185K on the clock and only two former owners. I have been blessed with a full electric sunroof, leather interior (with heated seats) and two caring previous owners.
Finally my garage has a stallion!
Since it is late and the trip home covered her in sh#te, I will leave the photos until tomorrow, once I have her all shining.

Having read up on most of your posts over the past 10 months, I am as prepared as one can be for the costs of this. Somehow I do not think that my dearest wife has the foggiest of clues as yet... Will have to tread very carefully around the house so that we keep a favourable relationship between all...lol.

best thing is not to add up the bills, just remember how much a newer car with similar performance would cost to buy and run and the depreciation that you'll avoid. I think I'm at £20k including the car and it's pretty standard
