@epic, take a look at the quantities and tell me if you still think that Holdens are cheaper.

edit: My mistake, there are two sizes available. Still, 70 pence isn't a big saving.

I'm confused. The Frost site says "3.78 litres", but then it also says, "Marine Clean 946ml"

@Dan, that caught me out too. If you click on the on the link to Marine Clean (3.78 litres, US Gallon) at the bottom of the page for Marine Clean (946ml, US Quart) it displays the same page (946ml quantity).

The correct price for the US gallon bottle is shown to the right of the aforementioned link.

Holden 0.946 litres £6.95 (ex VAT)
                Frost 0.946 litres £ 7.6595 (ex VAT)

Seems cheaper at Holdens to me

Also when I ordered some last week inc Por 15 paint Holden had it all in stock and Frost didn't. Arrived the next day as well.

No problem, I concede that Holdens looks to be the better supplier in this instance, i.e., they have stock and it is cheaper. I can't argue with that.

buy the gallon tub anyway, once you've used it once you use it for everything.... cleaning the cooker for example

                          Have you tried Virosol?

                          Think this is trade only

There was a group buy on TSN at the time and was dispense by the box full at one of the meets.
I bought 10 litres, cost about £10 iirc, at least 4 years ago and still have a very small amount left from the first 5 litres. The advantages are that it can be used neat, although I have never had to, and 20% solution appears to do most really dirty things.
It's also good on patios ! does'nt kill off everything elseplants etc, like the acid based items tend to.
It strips all wax from paintwork/wheels so beware etc etc and does no favours to you skin -- definately need handcream afterwards !!

                          Try this above for retail.

Has a pleasent smell...... her indoors get bad heads with most solvent/chemical type of liquids, including petrol.... which is why I end up filling up her car with fuel... This stuff she doesn't mind

I use this too, it's brilliant, really good VFM too, I've had my 5ltr bottle for a couple of years now and there's still some left. It's really concentrated so you only need a bit to make up a really strong solution. Only problem could be availability, I phoned Cloverchem and asked about distributors in my area. I think last time I checked 5ltrs was about £7.50
