The lights are a battery powered colour changing LED light strip taped to an aluminium tube. They can do all sorts of colours, flashing, steady, pulsing and scrolling through the spectrum - it gives pretty mad effects! The exposure was set by the metering in my mate's camera but i seem to recall it was around 30 seconds so the trail is me just waving the lights around over the bodywork, camera sees the light but doesn't see me. The lights were set to scroll through the spectrum for these pic which is why you get a rainbow effect, doing a similar motion with the lights on flashing, you end up with pulsed light trails which is cool.

I'm not sure about sharing the full res' pictures - the file sizes are around 26mb each.
