Can't get this E-type worshipping thing, and I'm old enough to remember seeing E-types when first appeared on the roads...Hell, the car made an impact, no dispute-it's pretty... but purely on aesthetic grounds..yup..vastly overrated

I remember seeing them in the 70's around 74/75 ish and being ten they stood out.I drove an E-type series 3 V12 roadster in 84 and the memory has stood out hugely as an impressive car.Not just "purely on aesthetic grounds.." but mechanical grounds too.Just like our S6'S and S2's that can be improved upon mechanically to overcome the weaknesses so can the E-type to be an amazing car to drive too by companies like this. This would impress dynamically not just aesthetically even to an S2 owner. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds with handling to match. What's not to like.
