    S6+ Salooon...

The idea was to buy a daily driver but I ended up buying this unusual car in December 2011. One of 97 ever made
Probably imported from Italy as it has 235kw instead of 240 kW in the papers.
The car has in my possession so far been given a new clutch, oils, filters, etc...
New dampers and springs will be installed next week.

So now I'm looking for a new daily driver... RS6+?

Not sure about the Italian connection. X0A = Germany delivery. Might be the difference between DIN and SAE hp. Here are the code breakdowns:

LZ5M = RS blue pearl effect (which gets called Nogaro blue)
N3T/05 = silver grey/anthracite (silver Alcantara inserts in black leather sport seats)

                Ok!
Because of the horsepower I thought it was an Italian import, when I noticed that other cars from Italy had less horsepower.
Is it just the software that's the difference?

I am guessing there was no difference between German delivery and Italian delivery S6plus software, just *maybe* the numbers that were written down were different. (In contrast, we known Abt Tuning from Kempten Austria did a 2.0L version of the AAN for both the UrS4 and UrS6 cars for the Italian and Spanish markets (to utilize the under 2L insurance category).

Back to your car, you do know those aren't the correct wheels, right? The correct 17 inch wheels are as shown here:

                    Hi Dave,

The stance of that car looks much lower than they tend to be in reality. Is it a case of the factory tricking around with the ride height to make it look better in the photo /brochure ?

                      Smiler,

Still gobsmacked by these S6+. 340bhp out of the box, no lag, and a great soundtrack.

Ironic that the S6+ was bought for daily driver duties, but I agree it is maybe too nice a car to press into daily use, especailly if there is salt about.

A urS6 should fit the bill as a good substitute daily driver, especially if you can find one in the same blue, to keep the cars matching.

                      Nice dilemma to have.

                      Not a bit envious.

                      Enjoy.
