It could never be that simple, could it.
When we replaced the coil packs, on No.4 we found the spark plug was loose, the tube was black, and the connector to the coil pack was loose, because some expert had rammed it on wrong! Maybe that was why it was missfiring?

Tom - what didn't fit? As this is a mod that can be done to fit our heads - seen it before.

The coilpacks have integral power amplifiers so would be a real nice mod to do if they are that cheap. This is one mod I want to do this year.

The body of the coil packs (new style) is too fat. Im not sure about the older style. I will take one out of both cars and post pics

I'm sure there will be a newer style coil pack that can fit the S2 head. Porsche make some nice units as well, and they're nowhere near as expensive as an ABY coil pack...

Anyway, DBW is good, should get 210HP/310Nm out of it without too many probs
