    Audi Coupe Out Of Hibernation . . . Wish I Didn't Bother!

So last Friday I took the car out of the garage down to get a bit of work done and mot'd got it back on Monday and taxed it, parked down the wrong street while going to the post office and happened to see what looked like a decent valentine place. So Tuesday went back and got the car booked in for it's first wash after 3 years. Tuesday night 10pm knock on the door some little D**ks have just tried to break into the car and threw something at the window. Went out to check saw a dent in the rear quarter the marks on the window where they had threw part of a breeze block at it in two different parts not happy at all so back to the garage. First thing this morning went to check the damage and it's not too good the whole rear quarter has got marks and scratches from the breeze block exploding on impact. 3pm took it down to get the valet. 6pm back to pick it up and it is looking well if I do say so myself (apart from the dent and marks on the rear quarter + glass). So all in all it has been an eventful few days even if it is for the wrong reasons.

Rant over so here's a few pics to help the thread on its way.

Before I get onto the good stuff here's a few pics of the dent :corey:

Love the colour, deep shame about the dent had a similar one caused by di**heads in supermarket carparks who can't seem to open their doors without causing damage

Well the mrs has just agreed that I need to get new rear quarter glass so looks like rear opening upgrade is on the cars and will call a dent doctor an see if he can work his magic.

It will all get sorted in time to be honest thinking about fixing the dent an leaving the paint until the car needs a respray the paint is very good for 23 years old but it does have stone chips and the odd mark here and there besides I have a few body parts (v6 bumper, avant side skirts, rear wiper deleted, rs2 wing mirrors) it would cost around £900 to paint the rear quarter or around 2k to paint the whole car makes more sense to get it all done in 1 hit.

EDIT: just had a phone call a while ago bin out looking another car a few streets away has just had its window smashed. I would put money on it that it's the same people. Really do hope me an my lil puppy meet up with them on our nightly walk. Will have to move her night time feed to 10ish seems like that's when the windows keep going threw.

Sorry for your troubles. Don't do anything stupid to the breeze block gits. Not worth it.

These sorts of people wind me up no end! Sad state of affairs that nobody can own anything nice these days without some jealous yob ruining it.

Hope you get it sorted soon, gorgeous car in an excellent colour!

To be honest after sitting down and thinking about it I don't really want to spend best part of a grand on getting the rear quarter fixed I will more thank likely leave it how it is for a few years while I collect parts and once I have everything I need get a full respray done (in the same colour of course)
