Found something odd on my S2 tonight

When routing the coupeheater i found a name inscribed on the left struttowerbrace, appropriatly it´s actually my forename

Now one wonders, do everyone have "martin" on their strutbrace or what is that?

That is not the strut brace (8A0805645A) but a "retainer" 8A0810379 for electrical connections on a LHD ABY S2, probably attached *to* the strut bar. "Martin" is likely the contracted supplier.

Hi Macspring,

The S2 is a bit of a "långbänk" (too long time project), it´s been standing in the garage for 3 yrs now

As a result all photos are quite old, but there are some here (which you may have already seen): www.garaget.org/trankelstein

This is from tonight and that´s about as exciting as it gets right now, the engine is ready to go back in but i haven´t recieved the enginemounts yet from CP. (i have many parts and detailpictures if anyone´s interested)


As for the hp figure i´m just speculating but i hope it´s gonna be past the 400s
