Got a few updates now.

Fuel lines made up.


exhaust done


Room for everything in this bay is very tight,and location and pipe routing was tricky. Didnt want to compromise on the cooling capacity, so oil cooler has had to go outside.
Some might hate this,but rather this than the intercooler outside.



Intercooler mounting made.



Pipework made. They are now painted.

Wow. Well due an update.

Mapping went well. Made 330bhp at 1/2 bar. Thats about all the 29 year old fuel pump would give with the injectors at 90%
Goes sideways a lot.
Drove it about over winter to run it in, fix any minor issues ect. Was a lot of fun,and with it running well had a go at snetterton race track.

Some new bay piccs. Since snetterton the car started smoking,which got progressivly worse,not long after.
So i booked another trackday at brands then pulled off the cylinder head to have a set of new valve guides put in,and all that that entails.
Added some nice paint to the rocker cover and inlet manifold.




Finished the car saturday eve at 8 pm,st off for brands next day,where the car drove super good.
