B2 80 quattro

This is my 80 quattro had it about 2 years now and been stuck in the garage for most of that time. Just picked up a 3B engine so it's time to get cracking

Had the engine just over a week now so I thought I'd better get cracking

Stripped the engine down to check it over and to paint it.

Cleaned



Ans painted block



Started to paint a few other bits

Been busy this morning, time to remove the old KK motor









Always little surprises when you start to strip down, when ever was gaffer tape a substitute for weld




Took the box out too, and stripped the engine loom out too.

try again, i organised by photobucket after i posted the pics

after trying to repost 1 of the pics (i could only see the 3b too) the page reloaded and i can see all the pics

Very jealous, this is going to be an awesome car when its done, would love to do a project like this.

Got any more pics with the car with these rims? Are they superleggeras? Really look good on dark coloured cars.
