Normaalselt chipitud autol on turborõhku kuni 1.2 bar.
See 0.7 on üsna stocki lähedane kuuma ilmaga.

          Or in English:

"Normally a chipped car has a turbo pressure to 1.2 bar.
This 0.7 Stock (car) is quite close to the hot weather."

I need to check it from c5 wiring diagram. At the moment I remember that maybe pins 1&2 were for airbag and 3&4 for horn and nr5 was empty. On friday I can double check it by removing steering column cover from my car.

I have been using vag-com 311-2 and blue made in china cable over a year. Back then friend helped me out with his cable and computer.

Brakes improvement worked out well. Installed master cylinder from audi 200 and front calipers from c5 a6 (piston size 57mm vs 54mm b4 stock caliper). Also I found a perfect brake discs for my setup which were VW Sharan's 288x25mm. Height was so perfect that there was no need for washers between wheel hub housing and brake caliper carrier. Old and new:

MOT ended last year in September and since October it was standing still. Then I had time to swap out some worn parts, made some improvements and then I lost motivation, so from November till end of April this year nothing was done with car.
Before that I installed aluminium bushings for front subframe, because rubber ones were worn out after 11 000km from last change.

Also swaped out turbo hot side and exhaust manifold with ones without cracks. Because of cracks it sounded like fart cannon, now it is quiet.

Then I made myself boost leak test kit which cost me about 3 euros. That's how I found leaking intercooler. New one is from VW sharan and it fits perfectly.

Last job was tie rod allignment screws replacement with new ones + new bellows for front driveshafts. Also then I took off headlights and foglights to clean them. Foglights got new paint and I also had time to glue on new glasses which were bought almost year before.

Motivation hit me when I got stuck in mud with b5 a4 fwd. Then I knew that I must resurrect my quattro. It took about 3 hours and car was again in condition to hit the streets. Now it boosts 1.2bar and moves quick enough for daily driver. At the moment I still can't use it as daily because first I need to get permission for engine swap and then I can go to inspection. Then it will be legally 1.8T because at the moment it is still registered as 2.0 66kw fwd.

Meanwhile I have had some side projects. One of them was my brothers B4 1.8T swap which took 4-5 days in July 2015:

Last autumn and winter I worked on B5 2.0 monomotronic swap. It should be one and only in the world. Those black 16" avus wheels are actually for my black B4:

This spring I have worked on 1.8T cabrio swap and on sunday I got it running and driving. Unfortunately I have not made any good photos, only some shots of cooler installation:

I will make better ones and also some videos

This story ended about 2 weeks ago, when I did not get permission to legalise quattro swap. Without it I can't go to tec inspection. Actually I tried once, but when they asked if it was quattro or fwd and there is no way to lie about it, so I had to tell them it is quattro and after that I was sent away. After that I had to make difficult decision. And I decided to sell it as spares.

In first few days I managed to sell some parts and earn a bit, but I still dreamed about 1.8T B4 limo quattro. Then I finally decided to search for an old advertisement I had seen before - Competition Quattro for 600 euros. I made a call and managed to cut price down to 500€. After that my bro offered to lend me some money and we went to get it. I'm happy that I got that rare model. I still have all the good stuff and I will swap it all to Competition. So each end is new beginning

                          Beast is alive

It took me about 2 months to throw out everything from Competition and swap over all good stuff from old car. It could have been done faster, but it is hard to find time when you have job and family.

When engine was out I had chance to install 240mm clutch = S2 one. Flywheel got new holes and also a bit lighter.

First testdrive was in September, a night before wheel allignment service. Now I had more boost than ever before and intake hose decided to pop. Added couple of extra clamps and now it is fine. Wheel allignment was succesful and took less than hour. Also had to get inspection done. Everything went well and no problems were found.

Then I wanted to change gearbox and diff oils. Gearbox was easy, but I managed to **** up diff drain plug. So now I have to weld a nut inside and try again.

A week after I bought a lowering kit. It came from B4 avant quattro and after installation I had to admit that rear end was even higher than before. To solve it I had to buy B5 quattro H&R coils. Rear ones fit B4 too and they made huge difference. But when I went for a drive I had quite horrible vibration when speed exceeded 30km/h. Rear right inner joint was about to blow, because there was no grease left and balls were just flying around. Since I had to remove rear axles, I bought 4 new joints and changed them all. Now it drives smoothly, but sometimes I can still feel slight vibration. Maybe front inner joints are making it, because outer joints are also replaced with new ones.

Also I bought a little snail to make Competition faster:

k24 7000. I plan to get it done spring or summer 2017, because at the moment I'm waiting for a snow. Also need to save up some cash for manifold and ecu remap.

Other Audis I mentioned in last post are also driving well. Both of them have had little upgrades and took part in One Mile Challenge. That green B4 1.8T drove 206km/h and Purple B5 2.0 monomotronic drove 169km/h.

Actually rear end is a bit lower at the moment. Need to adjust rear coils to get it right. For a second I thought to try -50mm or -60mm springs in front, but then it would be ridiciously low. Now I am so used to how it handles with new suspension and when I drove my wife's b4 avant it felt like sailing on the ocean although actually everything is fine and wheel allignment is done.

I'm still thinking if I should install oem rear mud flaps or not. I know that they will look okay, but I'm afraid that they will scrape the pavement. At the moment front ones are 4cm from the ground.
