Building kit cars is a LOT of fun but very hard work and rewarding in the end. I built a couple of Raw Strikers before getting the UR and the S2, and know all about your pain,
"Just popping in the garage dear, see you in half hour", 4 hours later sneaking to bed hoping she's asleep ! ! !
Is it a Luego ? Looks really smartly finished and right to be V proud of.
Westfield and Caterhams (built a couple of them too !) just fall together like a big mecanno set, but proper kit cars are properly hand built !
I was the same as you, enjoyed more of the build than the actual driving and sold each of mine shortly after SVA (PITA process...)
      Congrats...

        Thanks
It's an MK Indy, same sort of thing as the Luego, based on a Sierra donor and a little bigger than a Westy or Caterham.
I'm going to pay someone to put it through the test - my theory being that they can prep it beforehand knowing what needs doing.

Excellent work Matt. Ive wanted to build my own for years, but suspect it would take me 15 years to build.

Nice job, such great fun. The GT40 was the hardest build i have ever done, it was honestly like making a Swiss watch....

Always hankered after a 7 driven a couple and always enjoyed them.

            Good work....

My S2 has similar company in my garage. A Westfield SE with a red-top Vauxhall under the hood. It's on a 2000 plate with 4,500 miles on it so far.

As much fun in the dry as a Mk2 Escort is, in the wet!

                    Nice mix of cars there.

Do you take your Westfield rallying.

No, but the steering wheel is too low and near my knees when driving. It needs a quick rack and the column raised a few inches for proper sideways activities. Not to mention when the inclement weather arrives.!
