What a week I've had. First off on Sunday afternoon coming back from the London meet my windscreen washer pump packed up. Not too much of a problem just a bit awkward squirting evian out of the window while your driving along.

Then on Wednesday I managed to get a whopping great whole in the side wall of one of my nice new tyres. Little bit hairy as the car tried to leave the slip road before I got to the roundabout. As a slight stroke of luck it was the NS front so I got a chance to change the washer pump while the wheel was off.

Then to top the week of I curbed the OS front wheel on Thursday night.

After all this I thought me and the S2 deserved an early christmas present so after a quick phone call to Milltek, some blagging for discount and handing over £360 (instead of the £524 RRP) I've got myself a shiny new 3" cat back system.







Best of all I'm getting it fitted FOC on Monday as Jason wants me to sort out his laptop.

P.S For the carpet police amongst us, the rug is from Ikea and cost around £15. It's seen better days as the cat likes use it as a scratching post and is used to hide the stain on the carpet where I was tinting the taillights on my old passat and went a bit OTT with the spray can

Very different to mine! Have you measured it Ben? I thought they stopped making the 3" system for the S2/RS2.

The pipe routing and rear silencer/tailpipe design is very different.

I paid £350 too but I had to leave my car there for the week for the custom system.

I thought they'd stopped making it too but it's listed on their website for RS2's only (They don't list anything for the S2 Avant). Phoned them and they had it on the shelf.

Your making me a bit paranoid now though Lee It better fit or they'll be getting a nasty phone call on Monday.

As for the discount just took a bit of name dropping. I ordered a set of Ronal Turbos on Friday to go on one of my pickers Seat Arosa project (I'll post some pics when it's ready next week). Got 25% discount off them. Working for the UK largest privately owned motor group has it's perks.
