I only know of a handful - this is a VERY rare car. Undoubtedly some will have been destroyed in accidents,... I have no idea how many are still surviving.
The only factory Audi that I know to be more rare than the S2-limo is some variant of the 100TQ Avant from the early-mid 80's. Apparently only three survive in the UK and I think less than 100 were built.
100 avant 2.2 turbo, five sold in the UK!!! Not as rare as a 1996 RS2, only one sold in the UK!!
gone a little off topic here, sorry ,,,but we weren't sure over on audifans if this car for sale on ebay was as it said it was, namely a 100 2.2 avant turbo,,,,,,
thread here
2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
2004 A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Sport-LE.
1995 S2 Coupe - sold (sniff)
But - there is an RS4 that sold in Edinburgh with a 2004 plate, registered for 1 month but with 20000miles on it - work that out (it was stolen before registered, returned after 20k miles and registered as new)
I have driven one in France near Paris one year ago seems to have been sold to a friend of mine since (that's why I was testing it) but sold since then !!!
There were at least two other ones I have seen in France !!!
