haha, don't tempt me, when funds allow im sure it will have an rs2 bumper, picking the car up today so will post some pics, new exhaust planned for the near year too, thanks for the comments

yep, looks stunning, i guess by colour coding you are getting shot of the black? Should look excellent, infact I'll keep an eye on it as my black is due for some attention and I can't decide what to do, go for more pearl or just refinish the black.

i know what you mean david, i couldnt find many pics of standard (i.e non rs2 bumper) s2 that have been colour coded, they are de-texturising the black so should look very nice, i thought about having the black plastic on the bottom of the doors done, and the sill stone chipped and then pearl over that, so there is some texture there

yes greg, gonna have all the black plastic done in the new year, to do that cost 130, must remember that the paint is 60quid a litre and it doesnt go very far, i think the guy said a full respray in pearl would be a minimum of 2k, which isnt bad considering the price of the paint, only down side to having the pearl paint

still looks really nice though. Decided yesterday I need the Rs2 bumper on mine and the trim doing now after seeing a coupe 16V in the same colour as mine and it looked almost identical minus the S2 badges and wheels.

Who did the work mate? I want mine done. I have Cricket Green Pearl. I need to renew the rubbers first though. Need both bumpers and lower side trims done. Do they do bodywork too as I need a little work on my rear wheelarch.

Lee, i got it done at a place called RKG in plymouth, where abouts are you? i imagine there are a few places closer to you. one of my rubbers on the side on the bottom of the rear wing has started to pop off, the guy said they could just bond it back on, do you know where you can buy those new rubber strips, from stealer?

if you get the bumpers done make sure they de-textureise the plastic so it looks smoothe like the rest of the bumper

Buy a new one IMO, they arent that expensive. I did for mine. Looks good tho Matt.
