Oz RS2

Hi All,

Just like to thank a few people on the forum now that my RS2 is finally on the road
Lloyd and hoffer76 for the chipset and ECU (not installed yet)
AlWyn for the tail lights
baltiboyS2,Ross and FRED for help with original downpipe.
Special thanks to FRED for selling and shipping me the downpipe (UK to Aus done with ease)

So I now have a beautiful 1995 Volcano Black RS2 to drive.
90,000 kms (55,000 miles)
Full leather
Sunroof
Big red brake upgrade
Full Miltek exhaust

Had to go through a full ADR (Aus. Design Rules) approval process which has taken 22 months from the day I bought it (in NZ) to when she got final roadworthy
But all worth it now

Hi jaychen,

Thanks, ridiculously long process, she spent 18 months in Sydney at the RAWS doing all the ADR stuff. So after that I didn't really care how she went, but luckily she goes fine and no problems at the moment.

Great work I saw the addition of the RS2 in the SEV's register but wasn't sure on the amount of work getting one to comply with ADR's. You must be glad it's all over now though

The 4th one is in NSW and is Pete Cassar's Noggy blue one. Look up RS2 on the Ozaudi site, there's some nice pics of it
Mine is definitely volcano black pearl effect, URS4boy checked up all the details for me. Probably just the camera on my phone made it look that way.

OK, cool, I thought Tony said it was Volcano. Im currently driving a Volcano RS2 while mine it getting repaired. It looks a lot different thanin your pics. I guess its down to the phone pics

Very relieved it's all finished and it was worth it in the end, she's great to drive
Complying with the ADR's was ridiculous. Some of the things they pulled us up on
like the porsche mirrors having small E marking (Euro mark) as opposed to large E which they wanted I had old new tyres, but needed new new ones Had to remove Miltek and put original back on which meant new cats
Just lots of hurdles.
Anyway, all good now
And you're right, the 5 cylinder sound is brilliant.

my friend owns a car garage in wales and has just sold his rs2 regussa green
to a customer in Australia was shipped out two weeks ago will try to find out what part so that's anther rs2 gone from gb
