When my Grandad was still alive he lived in Castel in Guernsey, we used to go on holiday there all the time years ago, beautiful place. I wish he had a RS2 on the drive though!!.
Is there still a 35 mph speed limit?!

Roof bars were standard in the UK but not in all countries. There are 2 or 3 guys from Cape Town on the RS246 forum who have RHD RS2s but no roof bars. My RS2 started life on Jersey. RHD Polar, roof rails, manual ac, Blaupunkt 10CD (rather than sony). Arrived 95 left 98 with less than 12k and 6 monthly SH.
I am sure the guernsey car appeared in Porsche World magazine article on RS2 giving the reporters 996 C2 a hard time on the local roads.
I guess these cars are part of the 180 RHD rather than additionalAlastair
