Those springs aren't for the S2 Coupe mate, they should be Blue if they're S2 Coupe springs from H&R.

They look like standard NA coupe springs

Why not buy the complete H&R cupkit, I believe these are H&R springs combined with bilstein shocks. I read good stories about them.

thats strange they were fitted on a 1995 S2 COUPE 89Q {with standard sportsuspension } ???.
i bought them from a s2 owner because his wife fond then to hard ,and he put his original springs back on the car . btw the springs for the HA {that means rearaxile are shorter}

They still should be blue mate, S2 Coupe rears are 29939 HA and front 29939 VA

Avants are 29 909 HA and 29 909 VA

Those aren't either mate and look like 29895 for the Coupe Quattro. I think your mate bought the wrong springs.

Those are for a Audi 90 (inc Quattro), Type 89 quattro Sport Sep '86-'91

Probably do fit as your mate had them on his car before, but the ride comfort wouldn't be too good.

I'm pretty sure they will fit. I know for sure that the first owner (nct) was able to fit these under his S2 Coupe.

About the hardness/stifness and rideheight... Only fitting these will sort this out. Sorry m8!

For the first owner comfort and rideheight was acceptable, for Mrs. not.

As there are still people that saw of a piece of their feathers, you're not totally dumb/ignorant if you try them.

I do understand your feelings about them.
