Audi S6 Plus Sedan - Second Birth

Hello lads

I am new here and I want to show you my ,,new,, Audi.
Few weeks ago I discover this S6Plus in very poor condition(autogas system in it and a lot of more other issues...) , but the price was very good so I could not resist.
I think everybody here know this kind of addiction to Audi , especially Quattro ... I mean when you see dying Quattro , you cant leave it alone and let it die.
Actually I am not addicted to Audi , I am addicted to Quattro ..when somedy says Audi , I automatically hear Quattro and I see pictures of Sport Quattro drifting in the snow in my head. In my opinion Audi without Quattro is just ordinary car , I would rather buy some ...rearwheel drive car

Lets go back to S6




When I bought the S6 , she had a problem with engine , doesnt run smooth when get warmer , but this problem has been solved today ( bad two injectors) and I can continue in repairs.

Finally in workshop

(B2 is Quattro with 2.0 16v liter engine swap in it )

Gona change timing belt and all stuff around engine , valve cover gaskets ..
I want to solve oil leaking ..you know common audi problems..
But it is just a beginnig...

You got a very rare car there. IIRC there were only 96 S6 Plus sedans ever built

Rocco: For sure not ! I tuned only one car in my life , and i will not do it any more.
I had Audi S3 8L , Spec clutch , Wossner pistons and rods , hybrid Turbo , manifold , downpipe... Forge Fmic , Dahlback intake , Quaife rear diff , Stack gauges , Milltek non resonated exhaust, Bigger brakes , ... a lot of money in the car and than I bought RS4 B5 for neraly the same price like S3 with mods...Doesnt make sense for me anymore...here some pictures from the past

Work on timing belt change continue but it still not done ...some parts missing



There is some work on suspension too.



New oil for differential for sure .



New oil for the engine for a while ...I want to put 10w60 after few kilometers .

nice job is done..
there is no reason to buy 10w-60.. will you drive this car on Nurburgring 90% of time ?
it is not turbo engine..
10w-40 is more than good !

did you use original audi tool 3341 for timming belt change?
I think that is more than important to use this tool.

I have car in the workshop ...so I hope they have those tools . If dont, i hope they would be able to set up it properly.

Are you sure that it is an s6+? I have never seen one in that colour

fish : I didnt see S6 Plus in this colour too, but everything looks like Plus ..exterior and interior features , badges , engine and components , manual gearbox . On label in rear boot , under the trunk is vin number , kilowats , engine code ( ahk ) colour code (l3zn) and everything seems to be original .
But when you mentioned this ....when I was buying this car I was...how to say .. a little bit unsure ..because of this colour , but everything is like it has to be .

it was like you order it at buying proces. my friend has s6 plus silver metalic avant !
if customer want this color .. with enough DEM .. they can have it !
there is also a other type of customer, which want car in "OEM" shape . because , now can everyone recognized that my car is audi S6 Plus , just like other one tested in magazine "Auto Motor und Sport" before 2 month ago !

V8 - my first Quattro with mentioned S3

V8 4.2 as I can see.... lovely car, much more attractive then S6+, I would say
