You have no idea how long I toyed with buying one of those - but still never took the plunge.

I took the plunge a year ago (2002 3.7 quattro), enjoyed every mile

had a quick look to see if i could fix a few niggles today

first I think im going to have to have the dash repaired the fuel needle is well south and not moving grrrr

then the abs lateral sensor g200 ive been trying to locate it i have been told its under the drivers seat but will prob have to remove the seat and carpet to locate the now renamed lucan sensor lol

yeah need to get the head back on the s2 and get it moving again or im going to be caught out again

Lovely car, good colour, would have one if I had the time, money and space.

Looking forward to your posts on how you get on with it, especially as you have an ABY, so your comments will be benchmarked comparisons to the S2.

Was gonna say do nothing to it, except make it work as well as it did from the factory, but perhaps fit 19" or 20" S8 rims or a classic five spoke design in 19"/20", and S8 lower oem suspension from an S8 car in the breakers with maybe new shocks.

i.e. lower but not uncomfortable.

Hard to stop myself from wanting to make it better if it was mine.

yes been looking for a type85 for ages got my eye on a bit of a stinker parked down the side of a commercial garage

but I need to finish some of my other toys before begining again lol

my wife now has to park on the road

I have a use for every vehicle I own but there are not enough days in the week lol

Umm, do you live on a farm or in a barn??? My girlfriend would have left me if I had that many toys!!!! I thought 3 beetles, a Van and the S2 were enough. (Now I only have 1 of the 3 beetles)
