hi guys, finally going to upgrade standard front brakes.(1996 aby s2) having just got a really good set of 18" version 1 avus s8 alloys i was wondering if i could fit bigger discs than the ones from the a/s8 with different calipers. i was thinking of the 370mm discs and calipers.from a rs3.will it fit? what brake lines would i need, any thoughts or pratical advice or alternative set ups welcome.

Why would you need to. I run 323 mm on mine i can and have brought it down from 120 mph plus to nothing in no time at all. It makes you feel sick. -

From reading on here over the years, I feel that 360mm is the absolute biggest disc that you could use with a 18" S8 rim. A 350mm disc might be easier and less grief, but 370mm imo would be too big.
Let us know how you get on.

I run a 360mm rotor set up which come from the w12 phaeton....what can I say I'm a sucker for brake upgrades!...
it does depend on your caliper and how you mount which governs your disc size...Comment
