Help Please.Bearing wont fit hub.

Can anyone tell me if this is right or not? To me as someone who has never had to push a bearing onto a front hub i just can't see how these parts will fit.

The top of the hub has an outside diameter of 43mm

and the bottom part below the shoulder has a diameter of 45mm

The bearing measurements are inner diameters of 39mm

and 41mm As a newbee,this lookswrong.

I know they are a press fit but not a 4mm difference surely.

Has anyone got a measurement for their S2 front hub bearing surfce and also if they know what the bearing inner diameters should be?

The front bearings were ordered of a S2 avant reg from audi i have pt no 893 407 625c

And i am trying to ascertain if the hub measurements i have given makes it the wrong hub or is it the bearing.I only weald spanners ocaisionally (but enjoy it) so relied on the experts IE Audi to supply the bearing for an S2 Avant.

you have probably the 79mm bearings (audi 80) and not the 85mm bearings (audi s2)

measure the outer diameter to be sure...

Your saying its for rear? I ordered for S2 avant front bearing from Audi and it came in a kit 8A0 498 625 the kit comprising Driveshaft bolt and balljoint bolts.

Bearing is not right by the sounds, as Skull said measure the OD should be 82mm
75mm OD is a coupe rear bearing

Outside bearing diamter is 75mm definately not 79mm
