Turbochargers are sold to manufactures and they adapt them to fit usually,

i.e the 2.5TDi turbo will fit various other makes of car and vans.

yes mate the pumps are limited in terms of their output, but i belive there are 280bhp VP44 2.5`s out there

MAKE SURE its timed phisically and Electronically as it has a massive massive impact on how the cars run and sound, both of mine were like chalk and cheese in terms of this, the last one was crap, total total crap this new one is bang on my expectations for how it should be noise and performance wise IMO

and many many 210bhp off the shelf remaps!!

do some research, i am and its very eye opening.

spoke to TPS today and all the bits i want to buy from them:

2x inlet to head gaskets £3.23+each
2x inlet to Y pipe gaskets £1.96+each
1x throttle valve/shut off valve to inlet gasket £?? £3??
6x injector base seals 58p each
2x cam cover gaskets £14.80+each
1x waterpump (Exchange?!!) £37.32+ +surcharge of ???
1x expansion tank (tidys engine bay up nicely!) £22.40+
oil filter £6.79+
fuel filter £19.90+ !!
micro filter £7.99+
4x rubber bobbins for engine cover (might not fit one, love the looks of the V6 TDi heart) 11p each+ lol

all special order except filters and expansion tank.

will order them next month, but i will strip it all down and investigate cams, the ones under the filler cap look 100% perfect with 0 wear and no lip at all

but like i say, if i can get performance cams, i will buy a set

lovely looking avant.. I just got a 1.9tdi quattro avant sadly no where near as tidy as your car but at the price I paid im not going to argue..

any pictures of the RouseSport ? I do have a soft spot for a real blue oval..
