  • What's it worth? 1992 3b S2

This is more of a gauge to see what I would get for my motor, my job is changing slightly and I will need to drive more and it seems more sensible to buy a more economical car as much as it pains me.
If its value is lower than thought I will probably garage it and use it on Sundays

Laser Red 1992 3B S2 Coupe (Black leather with perforated leather trim)
Mapped to 290ish according to previous owner on forum, username: Polish
    135k miles
    Ellipsoids
    Air-Con (Needs gassing)
    Scorpion stainless steel full system
    K&N Cone air filter
    AUX rad delete
Headgasket done on Jan 2013 by JLN and QCWorks along with:
    Waterpump
    Head skim
    Pressure Test
    Radiator
(Other bits I cant think of right now at work)
    Wishbones,balljoints,topmounts done 6 months ago
    Peely clocks (Adds 10BHP)

    Recent chip in original windscreen

When I purchased the car it had a lower half blowover, but not top half therefore in summer the top tends to pink a little but is sorted with keeping on top of cleaning waxing etc.
Ideally if i was to keep I would respray/blowover to get it back to former glory.
    All arches are clean
Small bubbling has started at top nearside corner of windscreen which I had planned to do whilst screen is out and paint is done.

There will be loads of stuff I've missed as im doing this at work
I will upload pics later today and update any missed bits!
    Any estimates are most appreciated

I have decided to keep her for at least 6 more months considering I've just got a new MOT.
I will also be fitting a Roose Motorsport water hose kit and boost hose kit to avoid any headache, as well as replacing clock faces to stop the speedo needle catching.
New brakes/pads all round, water pump, cambelt, etc.
New leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm.

Anybody interested for when I'm ready to sell, sensible offers only...

Think you would have had more feedback if you provided better pictures so people can assess the condition of your car? These cars are very rare these days and a good one is extremely hard to find a mint 3b should start fetching 4k plus now just depends on how much work you've put in it etc?

I agree, photo's of the car inside and out would help folks give you some feed back. Thankfully it seems that our cars have finally started to go up in value, the last couple of months in particular, your car's probably worth about a grand more than it was at the start of the year.
