Hi guys,
I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be able to say I'm an S2 owner!!
It all started on Saturday afternoon when I was talking about modifying my 16v coupe, however I was convinced that buying a car that had everything I wanted was the best way to go.
So after much thinking and not very much sleep, I found out what the plan would be, firstly it was down to Mr Tonks to drive up to Scotland and collect the crashed S2.

Then it was off to Birmingham to collect the shell that would become the S2 that I'd own.

Once we got it back to Brian's garage, we spent the next few hours and evenings slowly rebuilding the car, swapping bits from the crashed S2 to the shell. Including the complete wiring loom!! Something not for the feint hearted!!

Once all the loom had been installed to near factory installation (courtesy of Brian) the car started to come together nicely!

A brake servo (farmerphil) was installed rather than the brake bomb.

Once the engine was fitted, it was only a matter of time before it was ready for the mot.

Today Brian took the car for it's mot, the first one since 2007!!
It passed, needing only the exhaust fixing, but I'll leave Brian to explain that one!!

So now, all I need to do is pick it up and start enjoying driving it!!
Enjoy folks!!
