Right time to clean the slut after the long drive last weekend..

Decided to give the wheels a clean and c how well they came up and if much/any damage

And was really shocked, they came up really nice the only slight marks are where the wheel weights
Where clipped on to the outside

Need to rub down the lips and rattle can them silver to tidy them up

Also this week got all the bits to make the wheels fit my car
First of all was the 25mm drill bit..

    Next was the 73.1 - 57.1 spigot rings .£

And last of all was the wobble bolts

So now there all washed, cleaned and waxed waiting for 2morow and can get them to fit my car hopefully

So fingers crossed can get one drilled and fixed onto the cat so I can get the rest done then get some tyres ordered

Well got the wheels on 2day and they sit really well,
      And no drilling needed

Front will need to come down when I get my tyres
And rear sits good I think

Now need to try some DIY skills in the lips!

I was just thinking that you can buy those lip protectors that slide on the rim, they are plastic of some sort and will most likely hid the damage - you could get them in red, black and so on, cheap as well

Well been sorting out the lips last few nites...

Rubbed down masked up and rattle canned chrome just to make them look better, look 10x better than the rank falling off lacker haha

          Also ordered my tyres yesterday

gave the slag a good scrub 2day,

          Wash
          Clay bar
          Polish
          Wax

Got its mot 2morow so took out the HID's
Topped up with oil as light came on,
Cleaned out my airbox as it was full of crap!

Also got bored and cleaned out the boot as loads of junk under the
          Mat and spare wheel!

Now can't wait for tyres to turn up and get them badboys on before the weekend

I don't think I would have put Star Performers under such a nice car

Well there the same load ratings as a lot more expencive tyres and same grades

              Just a lot cheaper!

All tyres hav to go through tests so they can't be that bad!

Plus I don't thrash IT about much more so rubber is rubber!

I understand, and tyres in that size will not be cheap of course.

Don't agree on the rubber is rubber part though.

Any more plans for the car?
